Principal Writer Tim Cunningham brings a heartfelt passion to Fast & Focused's mission of creating resumes that make job interviews happen. That passion was born from painful experience: Tim has never forgotten what it felt like to spend an entire summer sending an average resume to job ad after job ad without getting a single reply. That silent phone drove Tim to discover the secrets that produce effective resumes. Later, when he learned that over 90% of submitted resumes don't lead to job interviews, Tim felt compelled to launch Fast & Focused. As he puts it: "Too many people are still doing the same things I did and are getting the exactly the same results; fewer interviews than their achievements deserve. By preparing interview generating resumes, we not only help our clients find new jobs and income faster, we also save them from weeks of uncertainty and frustration."  

Before launching his first business, Tim spent 15 years working in operating departments of small and large companies in Toronto and Vancouver. Among other positions, Tim has served as an account supervisor in a brokerage firm, a purchasing agent for a major engineering company and a salesman and IT troubleshooter for a database marketer. These roles, together with bringing his own businesses from startup to profitability, have given Tim a deep knowledge of Canadian business and an insider's-eye-view of what hiring managers are looking for.
